How should fuel be stored?

1. Never store the fuel container or machine where there is an open flame, spark, or pilot light such as a water heater or other appliances.

2. Use only approved gasoline container.

3. Never store or fill a gas container inside a vehicle or on a truck bed with a plastic liner.

4. Always place container on the ground away from your vehicle when filling.

My two stroke equipment starts and dies, why?

There could be many variables that attribute to this.

1. Old fuel, replace with fresh fuel.

2. Carburettor in need of adjustment, contact dealer for repairs.

3. Damaged fuel line or fuel filter, contact dealer for repairs.

4. Fouled or damaged spark plug, replace with the correct spark plug.

If these do not solve the issue please contact your local Authorised service centre.

How do you properly mix two stroke oil and petrol?

Please refer to your operators manual for proper fuel handling precautions.

Proper fuel mixing tips:

  • Always mix the gasoline and oil in a clean container intended for fuel.
  • Always start by filling half the amount of the gasoline to be used, add the entire amount of oil, mix (agitate) the fuel mixture, add the remaining amount of gasoline.
  • Do not mix more than one month's supply of fuel at a time.
  • Mix (agitate) the fuel mixture thoroughly before filling the machine's fuel tank.
  • Mix to the correct ratio as specified by the manufacturer.

Engine stalls, looses / lost power, or is hard to start (4 stroke)

The cause for an engine to stall can range from simple operation error to engine failure.

  • Fuel: Check to make sure the mower has not run out of fuel.

  • Oil: Some of the engines have a low oil shut off to prevent damage to the engine if the oil level is too low. Check the oil level and fill to the full mark if the dip stick shows that the oil level is low. Engine is not operated at full rpm: The engine needs to be operated at full throttle during deck engagement and while the deck is engaged. This assures that the engine is operating at its designed rpm range, and producing enough power to run the deck and the drive system.

  • Routine maintenance: The maintenance chart in the owner’s manual is based on normal time intervals, and is designed to keep your mower operating at its peak efficiency. The engine will not operate properly, or efficiently, if the air filter is dirty or clogged, the spark plug is fouled, the fuel is contaminated or stale, or the fuel filter is clogged.

  • Cutting too much grass at one time: Cutting too much off of tall grass may cause the engine to stall. The general rule of thumb is to cut 1/3 of the total grass height.
If the above solutions did not help then you may need to have your mower inspected by an Authorised Service Dealer for proper diagnosis and repair.

My warranty was denied and I had to pay for my repairs, why?

Our warranty policy clearly states that if a part is manufactured incorrectly or if it is assembled incorrectly, (i.e. a defect in materials or workmanship) that the warranty will cover the cost of repair as long as certain other criteria is met including but not limited to the following.

  • Must be the original owner, and have an original dated sales receipt.
  • Must be within the warranty period as determined by type of usage and warranty period as stated at time of purchase.
  • Must have been maintained in accordance with the owner’s manual.
  • Must not have been abused, or used in a manner not consistent with the intended and approved purpose.
  • Damage resulting in improper or misuse, poor maintenance is not warrantable and is the responsibility of the consumer.
  • Failure to produce an original dated sales receipt, also voids warranty consideration and then again any costs associated with repairs is the consumer's responsibility.
