4 Powerful Tools With Low Emissions

With carbon footprints and emissions still dominating the news, nowadays being environmentally savvy is just as important as getting the job done. The problem with the most powerful machines is they are petrol driven, which can have high levels of emissions.

At McCulloch we feel you don’t need to sacrifice power for lower emissions. As a result here are our top tools to help you curb your emissions whilst still getting the job done.

  1. Battery machines
  2. If you are looking for a low emission alternative to your petrol machine your first port of call should be battery power. Not only do they cut out the emissions, they are quieter, lighter and easier to maintain. At McCulloch we make it easy as the same 58V battery will fit in five different machines; our chainsaw, grass trimmer, hedge trimmer and two different leaf blowers. The one battery will fit all machines and delivers optimal power but without the drawbacks.

  3. McCulloch Oxypower
  4. Technology laws are starting to restrict emissions, for some brands this means a drop in power. Not for McCulloch! Some of our machines have been fitted with what we are calling McCulloch Oxypower. Our technology gives you lower fuel consumption, lower emissions and higher power coming from the machine. Such is the efficiency of our machines it can equate to roughly 60% less emissions and has been attached to our grass trimmers and chainsaws like our CS 42S.

  5. Robotic lawnmowers
  6. Do you ever wish you didn’t have to cut the grass? Look no further. Robotic mowers automatically cut the grass for you so you can get on with the more important things in life. They are fully electric and come with a charging station that is unique to that robotic mower. When the lawnmower runs low on juice it will independently return to the charging station for a refill before carrying on with its work.

  7. Your own arms
  8. OK this last one is a bit of a cheat but in so many cases you can do away with your high-powered machine in favour of a more manual approach. Not only will you cut down on your emissions but you will also get a high intensity workout that can help build your arm muscle over time. While this will only be relevant to a few garden tasks it is definitely worth it.
